Extraordinary Wedding Photography in Connecticut

I came in touch with S + B through other family member’s related to S. They were interested in wedding photography in Connecticut. I had photographed her older brother’s family for years and it was only natural that I take on the task of photographing her wedding. Both she and B are avid outdoors “men” and love going on long hikes in Southern Connecticut. So it only made sense that their wedding day would take place outside at the beautiful Kalmia Garden at Gastler Farm…an absolutely beautiful location for wedding photography in Connecticut.

Let me tell you, this venue is beyond perfection for anyone that wants to more rustic vibes at their wedding. Their ceremony was held outside. After the ceremony, the chairs were broken down so that there was plenty of room for guests to take in the lush green grass and the beautiful gardens that accompany this venue. The bride was able to get ready upstairs and look out onto the grounds while doin so…which is wonderful. S + B decided a pizza food truck would fit right in line with the entire vibe of the wedding. (The pizza truck even dished out a dessert pizza!) Music echoed into the night while guests and the betrothed couple danced the night away. The twinkle lights appeared to sway to the music as well it was just that kind of night. I smile still reminiscing on that glorious night.
