How do we book our wedding with you?
First off, give us a call or reach out via email so we can talk a bit. Planning a wedding with Amika Gair Photography always begins with a conversation. We want to hear from you and about you.
Do you have a travel fee?
The simple answer is sometimes. We are a centrally-based Connecticut photography studio but serve the Pioneer Valley in Western Massachusetts and the Hudson Valley in Duchess County New York. We happily travel within a 2-hour radius to serve our wedding clients. If you’re interested in a destination wedding, let’s get on the phone and chat. I love me a good adventure!
How long have you been photographing weddings?
We have been photographing weddings in West Hartford, CT and beyond since 2010.
Have you ever photographed a wedding at our venue?
This is definitely the top frequently asked question. It doesn’t matter is we’ve photographed a dozen a weddings there. Your wedding is specific to you and the photographs will reflect your wedding. If you like our style and mood, then we can create gorgeous photographs in any location.
How long will it take to receive our photos?
It takes approximately 8 to 10 weeks to receive your final photographs. All photos will be processed and edited and delivered on a custom flash drive with a print release. We always try to provide a sneak peek on social media wishing 48 hours following your wedding day.
Do you sell Prints? Wedding Albums? Keepsakes?
The resounding answer is yes! We deliver beautiful fine art prints that can be ordered directly from your client gallery. All of our wedding albums are customized to order, so an in-person ordering appointment is required to complete a wedding album order. A Zoom appointment is also an option. Matted and framed products may also be ordered via our website, however, we highly recommend coming into the studio or setting up a zoom meeting to ordered framed products so you know exactly what it will look like.
Do you have liability insurance?
Amika Gair Photography is fully insured. If your venue requires vendors to have a COI we are happy to provide that for you or can send to the venue coordinator directly.
Can you help us with our timeline?
Amika Gair Photography is happy to help with ironing out logistics and timeline details. We always suggests giving yourselves enough time to get formal photographs taken and then at least 20 minutes to steal yourselves away for so photographs of just the two of you. When booking a wedding with us, we are here to help you every step of the way.
What happens if we must reschedule our wedding?
Don’t panic, it happens. We have policies set in place to ensure our couples are taken care of in the event of rescheduling. Contacting us right away will help facilitate getting all parties involved to move the wedding date. We are happy to coordinate with the venue, flowers, and anyone else to help the transition run as smoothly as possible. Communication is vital but together we can make it happen.
